I was fortunate enough to be in a little bar in Brooklyn, South 4, during the Presidential debate last week in the US.

It was astounding that the whole bar was full of 20/30 somethings watching the debate on the big screen like it was the 3rd State of Origin with QLD and NSW locked up at one a piece. People were yelling at the screen, especially at Mitt Romney’s Abbott-like disregard for the truth while the more subdued folk were peering helplessly into their ale clearly troubled by Obama’s limp performance.
